Most people have never even heard the term gray Googlers before. Gray Googlers are people over the age of 50 who are now making money on the internet by using Google Adsense on their websites. Since the beginning of the internet, it has been considered a young person's domain. Many older people do not even attempt a simple email account, let alone putting up their own website and placing Google ads on them.
This has changed with the gray Googlers. There are now quite a few retired people making a nice income on the internet. Instead of living on a fixed income with only their pensions, they are making money and really enjoying their retirement by working on the internet.
However, the money they earn from Google does not fall out of the sky. Some have admitted that they work about two to three hours a day on the internet, but that is still a lot less time than they put in to their former jobs. To the gray Googlers, it is worth the little bit of time they put in to have the extra money.
Most of the gray Googlers have started their own websites and put Google ads on them because they have a passion for a certain topic. Perhaps it has to do with their former trade or even a hobby that they love. Whatever the reason, they are earning money. They are also becoming computer savvy, which keeps them current and more involved in the world.
